Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) of the Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, New Delhi, is conducting Online Counseling for allotment of AIQ-Undergraduate (BAMS/BSMS/ BUMS/BHMS) seats of Ayurveda/ Siddha/Unani/Homoeopathy under Govt. /Govt.

Aided/Central Universities/National Institutes/Deemed Universities (100%) to the NEET (UG) qualified eligible candidates since 2019. For the academic year 2022-23, the allotment of seats is based on the candidate's merit in the NEET (UG)-2022 Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)

The AIQ seats* come under AACCC-UG Counselling:

>> • 15% All India Quota UG (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) Seats of Govt./Govt. aided institute of all States/UTs (except Jammu & Kashmir)
>> 100% BAMS Seats of BHU, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh
>> 100% BAMS Seats of ITRA, Jamnagar, Gujarat (except nominated seats)
>> 100% BAMS seats of NIA, Jaipur, Rajasthan (except nominated seats)
>> 100% BHMS seats of NIH, Kolkata, West Bengal (except nominated seats)
>> 100% UG (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) Seats of all Deemed Universities
>> 50% BUMS seats of AMU, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh
>> 50% BAMS & BHMS seats of NEIA&H, Shillong, Meghalaya.

BAMS

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
BAMS course is a UG level degree course to train students in the field of ayurveda and ayurvedic medicine. Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) is the responsible body for the admission and practice of Ayurvedic medicine in India. Bachelor of Ayurvedic, Medicine and Surgery can be abbreviated to BAMS or B.A.M.S.

BHMS

Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery
BHMS is an undergraduate degree programme in Homeopathy medicine. BHMS course duration is 5 years and 6 months including one year of internship. BHMS's full form is Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to BHMS is 50% marks in class 12th with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Institutes provide admission based on the score in the entrance exam. BHMS course fees range from INR 12,000 to 30,000 in government colleges. Private colleges charge BHMS fees a little more around INR 1.5 to 2 lakh. Homeopathy offers a great career to students as students get job opportunities in both government and private sectors.

BUMS

Bachelor in Unani Medicine and Surgery
BUMS is Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery is an undergraduate medical degree in the field of Unani medicine and surgery. B.U.M.S. is a degree that is considered completed in 5.5 years which involves 4.5 years of main course classes and a one year internship.
BSc Nursing Admission is based on the NEET UG exam for most of the central and state universities followed by a counselling round; however, some universities like AIIMS conduct their own entrance exams for admission to BSc nursing courses.

Bachelor of Veterinary Science
BVSC is an undergraduate course of 5 years in the field of veterinary science that aims to impart the knowledge required for nourishment, treatment, and breeding of animals.
